This year (2023/2024) the Government has once again allocated £2,000 to support school-led tutoring. Following the success of last year, this will be used to fund morning ‘booster/catch-up maths and English sessions, for those children that need it most. This will be led by class teachers.

In September 2020, the Government allocated approximately £80 per pupil to support catch-up initiatives following the reopening of schools. To find out more information about where this money will be targeted and the intended impact, please see below.
